Blogging for 1 year / Give away

Today it's one year since I started to blog. It has been interesting to visit blogs and to meet people from all over the world. Thanks to all who has stopped by so far!
I sure want to continue for another year :-)
To celebrate this first year I have a little Give away - 3 Japaneese fabrics and a Yo-yo maker ( heart shaped). All you have to do for beeing in the draw, is to say hello or give a comment. If you link to my blog, you will have one more chance to win.The drawing will take place Sunday April 5th.
Have a nice week!

Finally

Two WISPs are finally finished. The "Trip Around The World" quilt is for DS and DIL. They are coming home for the Easter holiday, and I look forward to give them the quilt. I'm also glad to have the mystery quilt "Orange Crush " done. Because of the size of the 2 quilts, I didn't quilt them myself. They are quilted by Merete at www.sy.no. I'm very satiesfied - she did a great job.
For the next month I think I will concentrate on smaller projects :-)

OPAM

A weekend in November I took a class with AnnAKa. She showed us different bag patterns, and we learnt how to shrink fabrics. I made a shoulder bag with small pockets inside. I wasn't 100% finished when I went back home from the class - today I did the last stitches.

Happy Quilting!

Lucky me

Yesterday there was some interesting mail in my mailbox. I received a prize. We are a little international group that try to encourage each other to set goals every month - and hopefully reach them. There is a monthly prize. I had been told that I was the lucky one in February, but I didn't know what my friend in Holland would send me. It's always exciting when opening the envelope. Within I found tulip chocolates - nam, nam - and a piece of beautiful green batik fabric. Thank you so much Imi!

Quilt tops

The scrap quilt top is now done. I made some changes on the way. There are many blocks left, so I might end up making a similar quilt later.
The ordered fabric for the Nine Patch quilt has arrived. It's washed and ready to be cut. Which quilt top to do first - that's the question!
